Hello and Welcome to the wonderful world of Santa Monica Airlines Skateboards, and the cyber-home of me, "Skipperboy" Skip Engblom. Well it's finally here... 2008. Santa Monica Airlines a.k.a. SMA is turning 30. Our still humble beginnings are still humble after all this time which just proves you can stay true to your core belief system and not lose sight of who or what your are. |

I am really thankful for all the people who have had contact with me and SMA: Natas Kaupas, Julien Stranger, Mofo, Craig Stecyk, Jack Waterman, Jim Shulty, Novak and Fausto (RIP), Alan Peterson, Scott Anderson, my mother (R.I.P.), Nathan Pratt, Jay Adams, David Hackett, Dave Rogerson, Luca, Dean Edwards, Dave Anderson, Watson Laminates Crew, Steve Godoy, Jim Ganzer, Robbie Dick, 'Pineapple", my trademark attorney, B. Paul Cullen, Chad White, Jeff Whitehead, Henry Sarria, Jim and Bill from Rip City (my oldest dealer), Mark Richards at Val Surf, Eddie Talbot at ET Surf, all the people who hung in with me during the tight times (Wes Humpston, Derrick Perris, Bennett Harada, Kevin Ancell, Janus Barberi, Mike from KC, Auggie, Brendan Murdock, Andrew Currie, Jessie Martinez, the Zenters, Ray Flores, AC, e.a.r.l., and everyone I missed, and you the customer. |
