The Washington Street locals held a fundraiser for the park on ASR weekend (September 7 - 9). For the second year in a row, SMA put on a barbecue at Washington Street Skatepark on the Saturday of ASR, which fell on September 8, 2007. Many of the visitors came to skate, enjoy the food and drinks, hang out with us, or stopped by just to say "hi" to us.
Bennett, Mark, Melissa, Morris, Pat, A.C., and Eddie were all down there with Skip handling the barbecue.
Some of these attendees included Shroeder, Cudlipp, PC, Jim Gray, Mark and Debbie Z, Reggie Barnes, Wes Humpston, Billy Runaway, Cooper and the CD crew, Jay and Cory, KR, Raven, the Yermans, the Kyles, and many others.

SMA would like to thank the Washington Street locals, Mark, and Tom Claypool for the organizational help for this event. The Park raised $750 for the whole weekend.
